on saturday we drove to wollongong to see percy's grandma and grandad. she was awake both the going and return trips. thankfully she was happy nearly the whole time. towards the end, after approximately an hour she decided she'd been sitting for long enough and started crying and arching her back to be out of the car seat. still, an hour is pretty good. because she is only having one nap (generally starting at 12noon) we can't rely on doing any driving during her naps.
we took the porta-cot with us so miss could enjoy her sleep at the normal time- which also she thankfully did with little fuss.
after sleeping we went for a walk along the beach...
